Lead and Copper Awareness

Lead lines were commonly used in the past with water infrastructure, and while our ongoing inspections and testing have not found any lead service lines in our service area so far, we are continuing to actively inspect and verify remaining service lines to ensure the safety and quality of your drinking water.

What You Need to Know

Lead can enter drinking water through lead service lines or household plumbing. Exposure to lead can be harmful, especially for young children and pregnant women. We are following new federal regulations to identify and replace lead service lines.

What Are We Doing?

We are conducting lead and copper testing and replacing lead service lines in priority areas. You can check the status of your property by using our interactive map below.
